If you have Belgian roots, you can’t get around hot and delicious waffles. The old waffle iron that was used here is actually a family piece from our grandma.

A part of an old garden post, which would otherwise have served only as firewood, was used as base.

An a-typical trivet that is not only useful but also decorative.
