Side table made of an old plate from a slate quarry. Frame and structure made of metal.

In the Belgian Ardennes, slates are simply part of daily life. The region has lived from slate mining for years and is still known for its beautiful slate roofs. The plate used here was found left alone at an old Ardoisière near Bertrix.

Combined with the self-conceptualised metal frame and a fine upbeat yellow line, the table now serves as a design object or side table.
